Meet the Leadership Team for The PAF

 

ABOUT SHELLEY:
Shelley Reilley is the mother of two wonderful children, Dakota and Parker. Both boys are on the AU spectrum. Shelley started the PAF in 2003 when her youngest son Parker was diagnosed. Shelley's goal for the PAF is to grow with her boys to give more families support as their children become adults.  Her heart is in helping families affected by autism with the many programs the Parker Autism Foundation has started.  Shelley enjoys working in her glass studio and making pottery. She cherishes time with friends and family.

ABOUT ANN:
Ann and her family moved to Charlotte in 2001.  She has two grown children. The oldest has an autistic spectrum disorder.  Ann joined the PAF board six years ago and has served as its Vice President for the past three years.  Ann's passions include volunteering, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Her long-term dream would be for the Foundation to acquire year round facilities so that the we could offer socialization, respite, and vocational services to the community.

ABOUT NANCY:
Nancy is the mother for four adopted children, Azalea, Fonz, Chaz, and Zac.  Nancy has volunteered and been a board member for PAF for the last 9 years. Nancy enjoys spending time with family and friends, pottery, working in her glass studio and long walks on the beach. Nancy is co-owner of Clearly Unique Glass Studio. Nancy's goal for the foundation is to help families transition from high school to adulthood.

ABOUT KIM:
Kimberly Starke has served as the director of Camp Dakota for six years. Her background includes a degree in Special Education and working with children with autism for over 25 years.

ABOUT ALICIA
Alicia Adams has a son, William and a daughter, Alycea. She is currently a EC Assistant for the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System and has been in the field of education for over 15 years. She has a passion for working with the Parker Autism Foundation during the summer each year!
